
Zaw Oo Appointed General Manager of Hotel Fera Anaheim, a DoubleTree by Hilton, in Orange CA
IRVING, TX — July 15, 2025 — Spire Hospitality, a nationally recognized third-party hotel management company, has appointed Zaw Oo as general manager of Hotel Fera Anaheim, a DoubleTree by Hilton, in Orange, CA. A hospitality veteran with nearly 20 years of industry experience, Oo brings proven leadership skills and a wealth of knowledge to the role.
In his new position, Oo will oversee daily operations of the 460-room property located near Anaheim, CA’s major attractions. This appointment represents a strategic milestone as the hotel continues to enhance guest experiences and strengthen its market position. He will focus on creating memorable stays while maintaining the high service standards Spire Hospitality delivers across its portfolio.
Oo most recently served as the general manager of M Social Hotel New York Times Square, a 480-room lifestyle property in Manhattan. He has held leadership roles at premier properties across major markets, including the Kimpton Palomar San Diego, The St. Regis Houston, and InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown. Throughout his career, Oo has been recognized for delivering operational excellence and people-centric leadership, with a proven ability to inspire teams and drive guest satisfaction.

Born in Yangon, Myanmar, Oo is a proud first-generation immigrant who began his professional career in finance, spending a decade as a Banking Center Manager with Bank of America in the San Francisco Bay Area before transitioning to hospitality. He holds a master’s degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the University of Southern California (USC).
Oo and his wife, Darlene, are relocating to the Los Angeles area, which they consider their favorite among the many cities they’ve called home. The couple, who are passionate travelers, is planning a return trip to Vietnam in 2026.
